General Education: The University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Science in Neurobiology. Accomplishments: I was on the dean's list multiple times, and graduated in excellent standing. Favorite subjects to study: biology, chemistry, mathematics, organic chemistry, psychology, and nutrition.
Experience
Tutor experience: My teaching experience began in my undergraduate career, where I was helping my friends ace their organic chemistry exam. Eventually, I branched off to teach other students in courses that were having trouble in college. In addition, I teach middle and high school students basic science. This gave me more than three years of experience in teaching science to children and adults. I learned to assess a student’s level and needs and to plan adequate and structured lessons. Exam scores: DAT Score: 21 Academic Average / 22 Total Science (95.5 percentile / 98 percentile) OAT is similar to the DAT, this would be equivalent to 380 Academic Average / 390 Total Science. What I like about tutoring: I enjoy interacting with my students and building strong relationships. Teaching is a very rewarding profession, and I especially enjoy students understanding complicated ideas, making them feel confident in their studies.
