Education
I graduated in May 2015 with a B.S. in Neuroscience and Cognitive Science (overall 3.47 GPA). My major emphasis was Learning and Memory. I also have a minor in Biochemistry.
Experience
I have two years of undergraduate tutoring experience and one year of experience as a teaching assistant for introductory molecular and cellular biology. I have taken extensive coursework in psychology, cognitive science, neuroscience, and chemistry. I am also a member of Nu Rho Psi, the National Honor Society in Neuroscience. During my experience as a tutor, I also received regular, extensive pedagogical training in order to properly facilitate student learning. I am very passionate for helping students not only excel academically but also apply a subject to everyday life and future goals. I am one of those science enthusiasts that believes education can save the world, and I hope to soon continue my studies with the ultimate goal of contributing to the advancement of education in the STEM fields.
