I have taught four years in bilingual elementary education in Austin. I teach math, reading, science, social studies, and writing in English and Spanish. Prior to Austin, I taught ESL abroad in Argentina, Japan, and Korea. I have worked with students from the age of two up to adults. In total, I have nine years of teaching experience.I love making it fun to learn. I use games, physical activity, songs, visuals, or anything else that can assist students in connecting to the material. I have found that all students have different styles of learning and that with the proper approach, all students can find success.I earned my BA with honors in English, with a minor in Spanish at the University of Minnesota. I also completed the pre-med path and took biochemistry, biology, chemistry, physics, and genetics. While at the U of M, I studied abroad in Venezuela, where I earned the Cambridge University CELTA.During my free time, I enjoy CrossFit, biking, literature, trying new foods, traveling, running, and yoga.
