I am currently attending Austin Community College - Texas State, studying towards a career as a math teacher. My initial plan is to teach at the middle or high school grade levels, but I also enjoy working with younger students. I have a long history of assisting others with a broad range of mathematics coursework. I am skilled in algebra, elementary math, statistics, and pre-algebra. In a related teaching role, I am a long-time drum lesson instructor. I have a strong passion for teaching and it is very rewarding to me to have the opportunity to give back and I look forward to applying my skills to the academic success of students for many years. My hobbies and interests include music (I play drums and ukulele), movies, board games, cards, basketball, football, tennis, and bowling.
