I grew up in El Paso, Texas, the crossroads between the United States and Mexico. Growing up, I experienced a mixture of American and Mexican culture. Along with this, came a greater knowledge of the Spanish language, which I have been speaking as far back as I can remember. Throughout grade school, I participated in bilingual education, and by the time I entered high school, I took advanced Spanish.Drawing upon my unique background, I hope to educate and inspire a new generation of students interested in learning Spanish. I want to share my love for languages with all who are willing to learn. As a teacher, I look for fun and unique ways to help my students learn a language. I wish to spark my student's interest, by using a range of creative methods to help practice speaking and listening.I feel that being bilingual enriched my life. I am certain that it will be a rewarding experience to all who wish to learn, as it allows for personal growth while creating many opportunities in the professional world.My other hobbies include traveling, cooking, and being around my friends and family.
