The University of Texas at Austin - Bachelors, Physics

Hello, I'm Melody from Austin, Texas. I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from the University of Texas at Austin. I have written and published a novel for which I was a quarterfinalist for the Amazon Breakthrough Novel Award in 2013. I spent a summer in Germany researching solar cell development and learning a little German. When I am not working or teaching, I enjoy writing and blogging, learning new programming languages, painting in acrylic, creating mixed media art, collecting bookmarks, and playing piano. My enthusiasm for writing, physics, math, and teaching all help me to engage with my students and guide them in their studies. I have significant skill and experience in writing, and love working with students on the format, grammar, and flow of writing projects. I am available for tutoring in mathematics, science, and English related subjects, including algebra 1 and 2, calculus 1 and 2, differential equations, middle school math, pre-calculus, trigonometry, physics, writing, essay editing, grammar and mechanics, physical science, pre-algebra, AP chemistry, and AP physics 1 and 2.
