Experience
I graduated from the University of Texas-Austin, where I received a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering. I spent four years as an educator. Then, I decided to apply my engineering degree, so I switched industries. During my work as an engineer, I have been able to hold positions of leadership, enhance my collaboration skills, and have had the opportunity to prepare future engineers and scientists. While I love the engineering industry, I still miss teaching, and I am very excited to begin tutoring. While in college, I was involved in the UTeachEngineering program. I had the opportunity to study and implement various new teaching methods, with the goal of increasing the student's critical thinking skills and knowledge retention. As a teacher, I have enjoyed the opportunity to enrich the lives of my students and intertwine my passions of teaching and engineering. I strive to meet the individual learning styles of each of my students so that I can help them utilize their skills to succeed. I tutor Algebra 1 and 2, Precalculus, Calculus 1-3, Geometry, Statistics, Trigonometry, Chemistry, Physics, ACT and SAT prep, and Computer Science. In my free time, I enjoy sports, being outside, playing video games, and watching television.
