Extensive education experience in a vaiety of settings: tutoring, after-school programs and lead and assistant teaching (grades K-5) I most recently taught a bilingual 2nd grade class in Alameda, CA. I am looking to tutor as I transition into living in Austin. Extensive tutoring experience with children ages 4-16. Most versed in math and langauge arts K-5th. I have worked closely with native English speakers, as well as bilingual or emergent-bilingual students with a wide range of home languages: Spanish, Farsi, Vietnamese, Mixteco, Mandatin, Cantonese, Serbian, Bengali and so forth... Additionally I have a background in working with a range of special needs students: ADD, Autism, Dyslexia, Downes Syndrome, and social-emotional disturbance. I am happy to work with any and all types of learners.
