Education

I graduated with a Master’s degree in English Literature with Honors and a GPA of a 3.96 from the University of Virginia in Spring 2013. I graduated Summa Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa with a Bachelor's degree in English literature, a minor in Philosophy, and a special concentration in Spanish from The University of Texas at Austin in Spring 2011. On the New GRE Verbal section, I scored in the 99 percentile. For having received the highest score (a "5") on 9 AP exams in high school, I was designated a National AP Scholar.

Experience

This coming academic year, I will be a full-time Pre-AP ninth grade teacher at IDEA Public School’s Bluff Springs College Prep Campus. I taught English courses as an Assistant Professor of English (Adjunct) at Austin Community College from Fall 2017 - Spring 2019. As an Assistant Professor of English, I also taught English courses at Northern Virginia Community College in Fall 2015. I have tutored students in a variety of subject areas in one-on-one tutoring sessions on and off, mostly during the summertime, for a decade.
