There are many sides to my personality. I love the outdoors and learning through investigation and yet I am a huge bookworm who could spend her days on a comfy couch with a favorite page turner. Some things that are constant are my patience and respect for others, no matter their age or academic ability. And because I know we all learn differently I incorporate the different styles throughout lessons. I have experience with teaching both adult and children and also with providing speech and language therapy in a clinical setting. I have BS in Education (with the required extra classes and classroom time for special education certification) and Communication Disorders. I have a flexible schedule that includes weekends and would be willing to work with your schedule to meet the needs of your child. I enjoy working with young learners because they fill me with hope and continually challenge me.
