I've always excelled at math, so my friends would often come to me for homework help. I enjoy figuring out the right way to explain concepts to each person so they understand the concept rather than just memorize a formula and forget it right after the test. In my senior year of high school I tutored Algebra 1 students in preparation for their STAAR test. I got commended on all of my STAAR math exams, a 5 on the IB SL Mathematics exam, and a 5 on the AP Calculus AB exam. My SAT score was a 2140 with a 750 on the math portion.
