I attended the University of Puerto Rico-Rio Piedras, and I majored in Linguistics and Communication. I am very passionate about language, because I think good language and communication skills hold great power in this world. Spanish is my native tongue, and I learned English by watching television and listening to music in English. Everyone learns a new language in a different way. I was always interested in language as a young child, so I was excited to learn English, and I then even learned Italian in college. I want to help you learn a new language and how to communicate with it effectively. Courses and test sections I can tutor include Spanish 1 through 4, Reading, Writing, Essay Editing, Phonics, English, Italian, Linguistics, AP Spanish Language, AP Spanish Literature and Culture, and ACT Writing. During my free time, I enjoy singing opera, writing my own songs, modeling, reading poetry, and watching good television shows.
