Education

I received my Bachelor's Degree in Linguistics and Russian Language and Culture from Emory University in 2012. My Master's in Russian Language and Literature is from UT Austin. I studied abroad in Russia twice: St. Petersburg in the summer of 2010 and Moscow in the summer of 2013. I also studied in Amsterdam during the fall of 2011.

Experience

I enjoy working one-on-one with students because I like helping students improve their work and understand new things. I worked as a Teaching Assistant for three years and taught writing and researching skills. As a TA, I led class discussions on literature and its cultural context. Additionally, I have experience tutoring Russian and ESL students.

I enjoy reading, doing puzzles, and crafting in my free time. I typically crochet accessories, like scarves, hats, and purses, and I love making gifts for people. I also like to go Swing dancing. I danced ballet and modern when I was a child, but I discovered partner dancing in college and was hooked. I love the community, the music, the partnership, and the athleticism of dance.
