I am currently in my senior year at the University of Texas where I am majoring in Elementary Education. I will be graduating in December 2016. I graduated Suma Cum Laude from Nimitz High School in Houston, TX in 2011 with a 3.8 GPA. I was ranked number 7 out of 790 students.
Experience
I primarily have experience tutoring elementary students with math and reading. My coursework requires that I spend lots of time in the field, where I am gaining more recent experience tutoring kids at elementary schools. My composite SAT score was a 2000. I truly enjoyed studying for the verbal section! For two summers, I was an RA at Stonehill College's pre-college prep program. During that time, I helped high school students prepare for the stressful process of applying to top ranked colleges. I found that it was something that I genuinely have a passion for.

Hobbies
In my spare time I love shopping, working out, and spending time with my cat, Kate. I love makeup, cooking, and football (especially the Patriots)! I'm also a big fan of outdoor activities, like rock climbing and hiking. My favorite hobby however, is traveling. I love to explore new places that I haven't been! I recently returned from a solo vacation to Seattle. Next on my list of destinations are Denver and Rome!
