Experience
I spent four years as a Marine, three years of which were spent as a hazmat operator and trainer. I also spent time serving in Iraq. When I was finished in the Marines, I attended UT - San Antonio to earn my bachelor's degree in psychology and a business minor. As a college student, I enjoyed attending supplemental instruction classes where I could study with and teach classmates. I also enjoyed working in study groups with students, where we could share what we know with others. After I finished my undergraduate career, I went to the University of Central Florida to earn my masters degree in clinical psychology. I'm looking forward to obtaining my license as a counselor, and I would like to earn a doctorate in counseling psychology in the future. I understand what students are going through when they have difficulty learning a topic, and I realize how valuable it can be to have a mentor with knowledge of the subject and the ability to explain concepts effectively. I'm very thankful for my education and what has been provided me, and I'm excited to pay that forward by helping others achieve success. In my free time, I like to box, run, weight lift, read, play video games, watch cartoons and anime, cook, and drink coffee.
