I am a UT - Austin graduate student pursuing a degree in mechanical engineering. Prior to that, I attended Goucher College to earn my bachelor's degree in math and Spanish. When I work with students, I focus on the student's needs and learning style to help them develop confidence in their ability to solve problems and become self-sufficient learners. Every student has different strengths and areas of opportunity, but every student can learn math. I encourage students to tackle math problems in whatever way works for them. This allows students to learn how they learn, which sets them up for success now and in the future. I also help students develop study skills and organizational skills, which also helps lead to their success in all subject areas. I like to get to know my students and make them comfortable so that they can communicate openly and make mistakes without worrying about it. I can tutor students in algebra, calculus, English, Spanish, differential equations, statics, and others. In my free time, I enjoy reading, music, soccer, music, traveling, and spending time with family.
