My love for teaching comes from a lifelong love of learning. I have a BS in Biology from Texas State University and am a highly qualified certified science teacher in all science classes grades 7-12 with experience teaching multiple science classes in the Austin and Pflugerville school districts. As a science teacher, I have had the opportunity to work with and help many different types of students with different goals and skill sets realize their own potential and see their grades and test scores improve. I specialize in tutoring all science classes elementary - undergraduate as well as test prep for the GED, STAAR, TAKS, and AP science exams. I can also help with all math classes up through pre-calculus. One of my goals is to keep each student challenged but not overwhelmed. I come up with ways to help students depending on their learning needs. I am generally available in the afternoons and evenings after 4:30 and on the weekends. I can travel to students or meet them online. My rate is $30-50/hr. I look forward to hearing from you and helping you in your studies.
