Happily, I have more than ten years of experience in tutoring science and mathematics. That time has included levels of algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus, physics, chemistry, and microbiology - as well as GRE quantitative reasoning. My degree is in Environmental Engineering from Middle East Technical University in Ankara, Turkey. My current plans include a shift to the field of healthcare. To further that goal, I have applied to the Alternate Entry Masters in Nursing program at UT. Teaching has been a true passion for me since I can remember. One of my primary goals in this setting is to make the experience challenging-yet-fun for each person I tutor. I find it important to determine a student's underlying strengths, and precisely what he or she is hoping to achieve via tutoring. I look to then patiently leverage those qualities to help elevate students to the next level they have in mind. I am fluent not only in English, but also in Turkish. I very much enjoy reading, running, pilates and spending time with my family.
