I am a graduate student at The University of Texas at Austin where I am preparing a M.S. in Engineering. I obtained a Bachelor of Sciences in Civil Engineering from Texas Tech University with a Magna Cum Laude distinction. I also possess a Mathematics Minor. I chose this major because I was always intrigued by the way skyscrapers and highways were able to stand on their own. I think it is fascinating to be able to learn more about what really sparks my interest.
Experience
I have experience teaching and tutoring college students. I worked as a tutor at Texas Tech University. I also worked with students with learning disabilities and have a CRLA certification level 2. I wanted to be a tutor because I love to help others. I enjoy sharing my experiences and like to push my students to become independent learners. I have a good knowledge in maths classes up to differential equations 2. I can also help students with physics and general core required engineering classes.

My two main interests are reading an cooking. They help me relax. Indeed, university can sometimes be stressful and having a good and healthy hobby can most definitely alleviate the stress. Beside, I also enjoy spending time with my family and friends, go to the movies, amusement parks or just watching on demand movies.
