Madison E.
Private tutor in Austin, TX
Education
I am a junior at UT Austin double majoring in Spanish and Human Development and Family Sciences. I am also in the UTeach program to pursue a Spanish teaching certification for preschool through 12th grade students. I chose to major in Spanish because it has been a dream of mine to become fluent, and I can help you work toward your language goals as well. I have a 4.0 in Spanish and I will be graduating with the spring class of 2018.
Experience
I have one year of experience tutoring 7th grade Spanish 1 students. I spent the summer of 2016 studying abroad in Santander, Spain where I completed total Spanish immersion, so my Spanish skills right now are the best they have ever been. I have received a high A in every Spanish course I have taken, from Spanish 1 to the upper division college courses at UT Austin. I love Spanish; ever since I first learned it, I have had a passion for it. I hope I can help you come to love it as much as I do! As your tutor, I can help with anything, whether it be homework, writing essays, preparing presentations, understanding grammar and verb conjugations, or even speaking skills. Whatever you need, we can work something out! I am a full-time student myself, so I am able to work around my classes during the day to best accommodate your schedule.

Hobbies
I love exercising, reading, watching a good movie and soaking up the live music scene of Austin. Right now you can find me training for the 2017 Austin Half Marathon, reading the book "Freedom Writers," watching Finding Dory in Spanish (Buscando a Dory), and getting ready for the ACL festival in October.
