I am an educator, artist, and published writer. I have a strong background in writing, research, and the social sciences. My tutoring strengths lie with paper-writing, college essays, reading, writing, history, social studies, and presentation preparation. I have also helped many students with their college application process and am able to provide college counseling as well. Since I was in high school, I have been working with students to help them understand challenging concepts and improve their academic confidence. I have worked as a literacy tutor, substitute teacher, and after school program instructor with students from kindergarten through high school. Because people do not learn in the same ways, I always take the time to find out what students are interested in and how they learn best. I am skilled at both lesson planning and curricula development and am ready to plan the program that works best for you or your student! I also have a background in theatre and love to incorporate fun and energy into my sessions.
