I graduated in 2010 from Arizona State in Tempe with a degree in film production and business. Since graduation, I have been living in Los Angeles and working in film production and DJing. I also play guitar, write, and make music. When I lived in Chicago, I worked with a nonprofit and tutored kids who needed help with their creative writing. When I moved to L.A., I was a nanny and after school tutor for a child. My favorite part was working on math problems. The subjects I am able to teach are algebra, geometry, elementary and middle school math, and English. I also excel at grammar, mechanics, organization, developing study skills, and test prep. I understand that every person learns in a different way and I believe in working on the fundamentals to help understand the subject matter. Sometimes it can be frustrating but it's so rewarding when a student can overcome obstacles and learn! I am always professional, calm, and patient with my students. Being from Chicago, I am an avid sports fan. I like the Bears, Blackhawks, Bulls, and the Cubs. I enjoy playing basketball. I also love to read and write.
