I have been a full time teacher for the past 4 years and was elected as "Best Beginning Teacher of the Year" during my first year of teaching. As the Computer Programming Track Leader at Heights High, I developed the sequencing and curriculum for the entire four-year program. Due to my current Ph.D. program, I will no longer be able to be teach full-time however, I also do not wish to completely remove myself from the teaching environment which is why i have decided to offer tutoring services. I have tutored before during my undergraduate years and have proven teaching experience. I have taught Computer Science classes (including AP Computer Science A, AP Computer Science Principles, Computer Programming, and Advanced Computer Programming) for the past 3 years. My Average Student AP Score: 4.16. Average Nationwide AP Score: 3.09. I have taught Algebra at the high school level and have a prepared students for the STAAR EOC exam. My Average Student Passing Rate: 89% Average State Passing Rate: 40%
