Bonjour! I am a new graduate of Hendrix College, a liberal arts school in Conway, AR. I have experience tutoring elementary students in French but I work well with all ages! I truly love the French language and sharing that passion with others. My areas of greatest skill are phonetics and translation; this means I am especially effective teaching the complex pronunciation rules of French and explaining the nuances of meaning that dictate proper grammatical tenses and moods. Everyone learns differently, and as a tutor, I strive to teach to the unique learning style of each individual. My lessons focus on using French/Francophone culture as a point of entry to the language: songs, movie and TV clips, current events, and literature are all part of how I teach important linguistic concepts.
